Temporary Storefront Closure

Q&A REGARDING OUR STOREFRONT BEING TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Q: Is the storefront currently open for purchasing bee supplies, honey, etc?
A: Unfortunately, no.  Due to the damage to the building, it is unsafe for us to operate out of the storefront for the time being.

Q: How long will the storefront be closed?
A: It is hard for us to say at this time as we need a lot of repair to the building before we can reopen and are still in the process of scheduling repairs. We are sincerely hoping that we will be up and running again by June - but it is too soon to know for sure.

Q: Can I order bee supplies to be shipped?
A: Due to the limited amount of supplies that we are keeping on hand during the necessary repairs, we will not be shipping bee supplies.

Q: Can I order or buy honey?
A: Unfortunately, our bottling facilities were damaged during the fire, so we are unable to process or package any honey for sale at this time.

Q: Will this affect bee orders to be picked up or the hiving demo class schedule?
A: Finally...some GOOD news...WE WILL STILL HAVE OUR BEE PICK UP DAYS AT THE FARM AS SCHEDULED!  While the fire did damage the building that houses our store, this has not affected our ability to produce packages, queens, nucs, and established hives you've ordered. Pick up will still take place at the farm as it always has, as will the hiving demo classes. 

Q. Will I be able to purchase bee supplies when picking up my bees?
A. We will have a limited selection of items available for those picking up bees such as, hive bodies, hive components, hive tools, smokers, etc - basically all things needed to house your bees. We will not have things such as bee suits, jackets, gloves, hats, or veils available as we do not have usable space for that sort of inventory at this time.

Q: I pre-ordered equipment when I ordered my bees - will those orders be fulfilled?
A: Yes! Absolutely!

Q: I have bees ordered to be shipped - will this affect the shipping schedule?
A: No. Like our pick up schedule, our bee shipping schedule will not be affected by the storefront closure.

We appreciate your patience during this time - we know that the storefront being closed during spring is less than convenient.
