FAQ & CLASS INFO
Is registration required? We do not require registration or sign up to attend. However, we do require you check in with our staff inside our store.
Should I wear a bee suit/protective gear? While protective clothing/gear is not required - we recommend you wear them if you're more comfortable doing so. Pants, shirts with longer sleeves, and closed toed shoes are recommended. Attendees should refrain from using heavily fragrant bath, body, hair, and cosmetic products. Long hair is best worn in a style where it is secured such as a ponytail, bun, braid, etc.
Is it possible that I'll be stung? This is a live demonstration and, while it doesn't happen often, it is possible that you could be stung.
Can children attend? While we have no age restriction and welcome students of all ages, children are required to be under adult supervision at all times.
Can I bring my dog? We are a pet friendly environment, but do require that all dogs be leashed and well behaved while anywhere on the premises. We also advise they be kept clear of the hiving demonstration as they can sometimes behave erratically when bees are buzzing about.
If you have any questions or concerns at all - please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to seeing you soon!
